Had to move stuff inbetween the session? that's zaps energy big time, no wonder u missed the 180kg, no worries though, next time you will smash thru it!
It certainly did sap the energy. Jono I'm actually going to change over to the next phase. Next phase will be bench from the bottom, low box squats, weighted dips, and I've gotta think about what hammy exercise to do.
^^ I have been doing rack pulls. So I could do deads again or I could do them from a deficit or do snatch grip deads. I could do heavy SLDL. I haven't done them heavy in ages could be a good idea.
nice session timbo. solid squatting there, too bad about the fail, but distractions like that have a tendency to ruin a session when ur in the groove nice GM's as well mate
Kai: prepare for the strangest feeling of such a light weight making you tremble!!
Ben: yep. I did them the other night and didn't write it down here (I've been doing a justification for a promotion in my spare time, but have been shafted by the politics involved). I did the pin presses after pullups and worked up to two sets of singles at 125kg. They were hard and I agree that I noticed my shoulders that evening and the next day. If that is anything to go by then I should be good for a PB.
Bulky: it really does ruin the mood. But at least I have shiny new furniture and the look on the furniture guy's face when I had the matress held by one hand while I opened the door was priceless (he used two hands)!!!!
I had gastro yesterday and shouldn't have been at work. So I'm taking today off. I'll update with a leg workout in a few hours.
solid ass low boxies tim ive gotta remind myself to try glute ham raises one of these days liking the high rep GM's as well. did em myself yesterday and loved em. u also think its beneficial to do GM's with abit higher reps? feel its a movement that it potentially dangerous if done too heavy...
^^ I'm not a fan of them heavy. I tried them once and decided I prefer the DE or RE use of them. Just too easy to round that back!!
The only reason I ever tried them is that both PLers and WLers all have them as staple accessory movements in their programs. Who am I to argue with them?
