You just found your natural breathing rhythm. Sounds funky but try doing something with an unnatural breathing rhythm and then try it with a natural breathing rhythm and you should notice a big difference.

Nice log btw.

uh actually no :eek5nono:

I was already informed of the science behind it all, if your curious I'll post what Ironslave told me :e5dunno:

I saw Katy at the Y while I did my session... and she ALMOST dominated the elliptical for as long as it took me to do my weights (which was about an hour) and my cardio session... which was about 20 minutes... i think she did like an hour and a half non stop :hhj:

Yeah, you will lose muscle if you're doing long distance, unless you're some kind of freak. I know my calves were obliterated from all the hill running I did last summer. But I agree with you, Tweak, I love running :hsughr:

Do you ever step out your door to walk somewhere and almost start running on accident? :49:

Depends on the amount of long distance, a mile or two a couple times a week isn't enough to cause any damage since thats only about 20 minutes total of low intensity cardio.

and yes, I do that sometimes :49:

Today I had cardio, first session was only 40 minutes, 2nd session after work was only 45 minutes since I got there late :disgust: since I went tanning before hand. By the end of all the sweating and cardio I could smell the tanning bed from all the sweating I was doing :49:

Tomorrow I have my fullbody session and 2 sessions of cardio :xyxthumbs:

Hell of cardio sessions lately tweak, always impressed by your dedication and determination, if you stay dedicated like you are you can do anything in the sport of weightlifting that you want

her idea of intense and your idea of intense are both unacceptable

seriously, if you don't look like your about to pass out and your struggling each and every minute then its not intense. Intense should be about 5 notches above uncomfortable.

Dobbs - I appreciate those kind words a lot dude, really means a lot. :xyxthumbs:

When I do intense, its never comfortable. But it always could be a little more uncomfortable every time.

Yeah, I'm talking over three miles, in the 4-5 mile on average range. And that's not even that long distance. I think the cross country runners here at Penn State do over 100 miles a week :ughnoes: That's too much...maybe a few of the best atheletes can handle it but that's a staggering number.

Rocky always knows just what to say:49::49:

Two sessions of cardio are intense enough, let alone them being 40 and 45 min:eek: I for one look forward to seeing you rail your fullbody workout, Tweak:xyxthumbs:

this was yesterdays session.

Fullbody session, no squats though. Its been raining the last couple days and my knees and shins are killing me. Just crouching down is very uncomfortable, hell all last night I could barely sleep, felt exactly like growing pains. So its either the rain outside or I'm starting to a grow again :e5dunno:

Flat Db Press
Weighted Dips (for triceps)
Seated Db Shoulder Press
Wide Grip Pullups
Preacher Curls
Lying Leg Curl
Db Shrugs
Standing Calve Raises

Cardio/Before Work:
- Elliptical
- 20 minutes
- low-moderate intensity

Cardio/After Work:
- Stairmaster
- 40 minutes
- First 20 minutes was moderate
- Second 20 minutes was very intense

^^ my shirt was absolutely drenched after that outing, very disgusting

no HIIT for a couple of days due to my sore as legs :disgust:

just cardio today before work, until next time :hello:
