Good job for getting in there and getting something done and working around it and still getting a better lift on the benching. Hopefully these couple of days off will only help further.

I've been having quite a bit of energy lately and nothing to do with it, so heres the little session I threw together today :e5dunno:

Db Shrugs
75x15
85x15
95x12 <--- grip starts to slip (just with my left hand  )
95x12 <--- same problem with the left hand grip
75x15

BB Shrugs - very slow controlled reps, close grip
135x20
185x20
135x20

Standing Smith Machine Calve Raises - didn't put any pressure on the back :xyxthumbs:
90x10
180x10
270x10
300x10 <-- PB
270x10
180x10

Reverse Grip EZ Bar Curl
50x15
60x15

Seated BB Wrist Curls
50x20
50x20

I need to get around to every bodies log, I know I know :duh: I'm sorry :tear:

yes sir gripping them heavvvy dumbbells is a very nice way to build your forearms, i do the same thing sometimes, until my grip is just dead :crymeariver: and then i pull the straps out :linedrunk:.........always a pleasure stopping by brother without a doubt :zangief: :2:

great session tweaky pie, like the dumbell shrugs, and im happy to see that ur not focusing so much on the weight on bb shrugs, i really think form and contraction is essential on those.

good work buddy:D

Nice work. Our simliraities continue. I too do DB shrugs without straps purely to improve my grip and they fail before I'd like (witness my log I'm about to post).

Good job on the calf PB.

I know you're a very form-conscious person, but if you go heavy on those be careful. I tweaked my back pretty good doing these carelessly. Good job on the PB :xyxthumbs:

Free stuff! Thats awesome :hyperguy:.

Standing Smith Machine calf shrugs eh? I've never done them before, i'll give them a go next session. Whats the benifit of doing them this way over doing them on a calf raise machine btw Tweak? (if any at all).

everybody that stopped by, thanks a lot. I still have to get around to everybody's log, sorry I haven't been around as of late :tear:

Base - the standing calve raise machine at my gym (as most are) is made for midgets :49: so I prefer the smith machine

Anyway, I did a leg session yesterday with Paul (he joined the same gym as I now :2: ) but it's nothing special, so I won't bother to post it :tear:

Tonights Session - Fullbody exclude Legs

Time: 8:40pm
Weight: 158lbs (I fluctuate from 156-166 daily) some may understand

Bench Press - getting stronger by the week :xyxthumbs:
Rotator Cuff Warmups
45x10
135x6

195x2
195x2
195x2
195x2
195x2
180x4
180x4
180x3 - knackered

Chinups
Me+25 x8
Me+35 x8
Me+35 x8
Me+35 x8

Front Raises - 2nd set was done after my "Up/Down, and back up the rack" just for the hell of it :e5dunno:
30x10
20x10

Side Laterals "Up, Down, and Back Up The Rack" - Paul brought up the fact that he rarely does drop sets anymore, so I figured lets do something intense :e5dunno:

This is all one set
10x12
15x10
20x8
25x6
20x8
15x10
10x12

^ could barely lift my arms after that massacre :eek4:

BB Shrugs - light weight, close grip, lots of reps
135x20
185x20
185x25

Forearms - feel the burn
- Behind Back Wrist Curls supersetted with Static Holds
- 65x30 supersetted w/ 75lbs for 20 seconds
- 65x30 supersetted w/ 75lbs for 20 seconds

Static Holds Alone
75lbs for 30 seconds

Abs
1 Set Decline Crunches (20 reps)
2 Sets Pulley Crunches
- 60x12
- 70x12

Aftermath: Considering I fluctuate from 156-166, and most of the time I weigh 158-162, I'd say my strength isn't too shabby if I do say so myself :e5dunno: (benching 195 :e5dunno: plenty over my bodyweight )Especially considering I'm not gaining any weight, but continue getting stronger :e5dunno:
I honestly thought I'd put on a few pounds from the Creatine, but it has only been a week since I officially started, so we'll see how that goes. In all honestly at this moment I don't care about putting on a ton of weight, I just want to get as strong as possible before I plan on putting on weight on purpose :2:

Nice workout, bench keeps getting better and better, I have a hard time putting on weight too, but like u said its awesome to be light and lift impressive weights, pound for pound its very hard for any one to match u, Strength i believe coms alot from the heart, some cant gain size like others( i think im under that category), but to be able to gain strength like u have, shows u have serious determination.
