Aftermath: Extremely pleased with how well my bench has been progressing. Last week I was struggling with sets of 4, this week I'm doing sets of 5. I haven't improved this well in terms of strength since I was 13% + bodyfat :49: so needless to say I'm stoked. Especially for weighing 160lbs :hsughr:

You can do more chin weight then that :no:

im stunned that u could pull of that much weight on the cg bench after having done regular bench press first, thats great stuff:D awesome that ur improving strenght wise like this every week, obvious to me that the program is working for you:)

Another improvement on bench - and then straight into close grip. Good.

Chins whilst not to your usual weight adding standard are still respectable.

Calf sets are mighty in number.

Awesome workout there Tweak, but i am confused at the lack of weight for your chins? Seens as your a freekin "demon-chinner" (the demon chinner thing sounds good in my head anyway, i just hope it comes out as good as it sounds in my head :e5dunno:) :keke:.

P.s. Nice calf work, good too see a tri-set thrown in there for them.

as I explained to you on AIM I used to do pullups, thats all I use to ever do. However, my right lat is stronger and I'd come up uneven :tear: so with the underhand grip I get a better contraction of the lats and don't cheat :xyxthumbs:

chins looking great, i always like to alternate between pull ups and chins, get some variation.

To answer your question, yes. I absolutely think chins hit your back better. I feel such a better contraction, go up evenly and its pretty damn hard to mess them up.
With Pullups its pretty easy to go up unevenly and I find the contraction isn't as great.
