Dude your gonna love passing league. Not sure if you've done it before, but its one of the things i loved in high school. Especially since you'll be playing against a lot of the teams that you'll be playing during the season. Never a better time to start the shit talking haha.

DB bench then those BB negatives sound interesting
how does your chest/pecs react to doing negatives?.

it feels good
it gets them pretty pumped and then going right from that to the crossovers just gives me a huge pump
and I flex my chest in between sets to get more blood in there

update:
front double bi: my chest is finally visible here showing the improvement on my chest
lats: finally have some size on my left lat still a definite difference in size, it's bkuz of always snapping down with my right hand when wrestling
legs: last weekend my girlfriend and her friends saw my quads and hams and said eww why would u want muscles like that, I took it as a compliment, I have received this reaction from others as well, the best comment so far has been "it looks like you have another knee" when seeing my vastus medialis (had to look up the name of the muscle)

Hey buddy, your schedule is gonna be busy as hell. I would make sure that you get as many meals and calories in as you can. I remember when I was in high school every college coach that called, the first thing they would ask me is how much do you weigh.

Thats not bad with the power cleans. You may want to just use the bar and work on your form. I've done that and still do sometimes when it comes to cleans and snatches and it helps.

Let all those other shitty backers cheat all they want. It will show up on gameday. You'll be making your reads 10x faster than any of those guys and just like you said, your footwork will be much better. That footwork turns into what I like to call "football speed". Some guys aren't burners in the shuttle or 40, but they are on the field because they make reads and have excellent footwork. Unless of course those guys are on your team. What scheme are you guys running? Does your coach have you guys going downhill or playing side to side?

that's like me I have football speed
I'm not bad on the shuttle but my 40 sucks
and we are running a 4-4 with the strong side outside sometimes coming down over TE to stop him from getting quick releases before we drop back into our zone, thats where they have me playing
and we are running more side to side for our backers

Yeah I know exactlly what you mean. Being a linebacker you'll probably never do another timed 40 when you get to college. I sure havent so I have no idea what my time is. My fastest time in the pro shuttle was a 4.3 I know what type of defense your talking about, its good for stopping the run. I prefer playing more downhill though.

Your workouts are looking great. You continue to get stronger every week man thats great. If you keep getting stronger those tight ends will be laying on their back haha.

Thats good volume on the calves. With the squat, do you watch a mirror or do you look up while you do it. I always found that staring at the ceiling kept me more stable and kept my back straighter too.

el freako: I just look up some and straight ahead when I squat, we don't have any mirrors in our weight room, I wish we did though
rocky: thanks, yeah the weights really are going up, I hit my best ever on that last squat and my legs were already tired from working all day and the other sets before that

didn't get to workout yesterday because of a passing league game
but we beat our crosstown rivals so it was worth it, they are tied for the top team in our league
we play them again today but we are going to get a "light" workout in before
I'm still gonna go heavy just fewer exercises
probably just gonna hit bench, shrugs, and maybe bent row, we'll see how long they let us workout for
