Yea Buddy! Thats the way to go! The 200kg barrier in deads is like when you first benchpress 100kg, it feels so great :)

tkD: yeah man, this is only the beginning, those deads are gonna get stronger i can guarantee u that. 200 was heavy, but im pretty sure that if im in shape next week im gonna get 205:D

El freako: yeah bro, those standing mps are fucking brutal. feel like an animal while doing those, and they call for alot of supporting muscles as well so they are a great addition. only thing im worried about with them is the extra stress on the lower back. but as of now im gonna keep doing em and then ill probably change it around in a couple of weeks when i plateau.

Lionheart: thanks bro, it was a good week:2: and ye getting that 200 felt great. ive also gotten comments about my spinal erectors having gotten thicker, u will definetely see some improvements in my back the next time around i post pics:)

Ironheart: thanks bro, 200 was a milestone for me:) ive only been deadlifting for a relatively short amount of time, and i feel its an exercise where im gonna keep increasing for awhile:)

Mikew: its true man, the feeling when i locked out that 200 kg was just amazing, felt on top of the world right then:)

Max: i will keep it up bro, thanks for checking in:)

I cheat and belt up... :carduindisguise. Maybe I might man up and lose the belt soon. My back has been feeling pretty good since I've been without a belt for deads.

i dont use a belt for militaries, but i sure use it for deads:ughnoes: dont know how u can do without it on that exercise:p but ye i think ill use a belt next time for militaries. i dont wanna work my lower back more anyway, wanna thicken the delts, so ill use the help i can get to save my lower back:)

I now figure that its a lower back exercise... why use a belt to make it easier for your back?

personally i feel it helps keep my back tight, basically functioning as an injury preventor. it sure as hell has not limited my spinal erectors from growing cuz thats the area where i have had the most progress the last couple of months. for me my lower back has gotten better after i started using a belt for the heavy compound lifts like deads and squats. i only use it on the heaviest sets though:tiphat:

4/8/08 CHEST!!!

todays session was just plain lousy, had no energy whatsoever. got too drunk this weekend coupled with way too little sleep and almost no food whatsoever on saturday, i guess that could be the reason. anyway, here it was, please go easy on me-_-

Bench press:

90kgx6
95kgx5
100kgx4
105kgx3
110kgx1 this was heavy
115kgx1 alot heavier than 117,5 last week, christ

after this my motivation was so low that everything else was affected

incline smith press:

75kgx6
90kgx4
100kgx2 pathetic, i got this for 4 last week, today i dont think i could have even gotten a 3rd rep...

dips:

me+15kgx8
me+30kgx6
me+40kgx4

high incline dumbell press:

30kgsx11
30kgsx8
30kgsx8

did some calves...

got a good pump atleast, and my noticed that my upper chest looks fuller than ever. only positive thing to report. i just hope my back session tomorrow doesent go as bad:disgust:

quite impressive session and weights for a drunk man :linedrunk: ... :keke: jk bro, now serious, you still have some nice weights there, but as you said at least your chest was pumped, and that's good news for a "lousy" day :D ... don't worry BB, shit days happen to everyone, even if you don't drink, and eat right and so..still happens for some reason, but looking forward to back sess tomorrow, keep it up bro :2:

tKD: thanks man, helps hearing that. ye i know some days things just doesent go the way theyre supposed too. but there is always next week:2: i will look over my routine, may make some changes. maybe cut back on the weight or volume and allow my system to recover alittle.

Ironheart: thanks alot bro, im glad im not the only one to have a bad day. and ye thats true, there is always next week, and we are coming back with a vengeance:)
