These reps are fine, just make sure you're getting lighter sets with more reps.

However, it looked like you may have reached parallel on one rep, the others stopped short. Not that that's a problem, you're still crushing your quads.

thanks flex. i hope to improve on my reps with this so i will be doing it again. but i do alternate my heavy week and "light" week with quads. the only difference between the two is a day with lower reps and a day with higher reps, they're still to failure so you could consider them both heavy but i like seperating them this way.

This Random Guy walked into Golds gym on a travel pass........ I believe he squatted 8 plates......... Most people don't squat properly and he was know exception...... He was bending the Olympic bars and many people were cheering him on ... Once the manager caught eye of it he was expelled from the gym. Now I thought GOlds was hardcore , let the guy train !!!!

Sorry, nothing will ever top Blinger Squats "especially for those who saw the original thread".

Background info: on another fitness forum, a highschooler (Blinger) asked for advice because his bench was stuck at 200 lbs, yet his squat was an incredible 580 lbs at 17 yrs old! When he was called out about it, he became infuriated and insisted that he could, in fact, squat that much, and he would post a video the same day to prove it and shut all the haters up. Later that evening, he posted that he had failed at 580 but he did manage to squat 500 for 2 reps and got it on video. Here is the result....

i can't believe that guy actually got 20 reps with that in IS's vid. he started slowing down at rep 6, i thought there's no way he gets more than 12. given he took some looong standing rests inbetween reps, that's still mighty mighty impressive.

he does a little and for that reason i wouldn't call this form "flawless", but still very very good. now there's a powerlifter at my gym who does it essentially the same way, with a little wider stance, perpetual motion, and as smooth as humanley possible with complete control at all times and no bounce, his form is flawless.
