Excellent job on the flat db presses, youre a pretty strong dude.

And excellent shoulder work after the chest, I know your shoulders were probably a little sore afterwards.

what happended to the 40's? somebody probably took them to the other side of the gym and did something stupid with them, haha.

nice db presses and great job with the pull ups those kick the shit out of me lol 305 squats is quite impressive i will make sure i keep an eye over here more often

Those shoulder presses are serious weight Glex, as well as your shrugs. Doing such after some quality chest work makes said presses even more noteable. Good luck with tracking down those forties:spy:

Aftermath:
Gaaaaahhhhh deadlifts. The 405 went up really easily compared to the last time so I tried for 435. The first attempt I almost locked out, and I may have gotten it but I think my grip was a little off and so my left arm was way lower than my right at the top of the lift. Next attempt I got the grip right but didn't quite have the strength to lock it. I'm pretty sure I would've got 425, and next time I do a heavy day I'll go for that before attempting higher weight again. I'm going to probably do some rack pulls to work on locking it out (Line's idea), and before I try to max them out again I'll be sure to get in 2-3 weeks of lighter days and heavier 4-6 rep days.
On a brighter note, I finally got to do spyder curls, and they were good fun. Tougher to breathe while doing them, but not to a great extent. I liked that there wasn't as much stress on the forearms and that my form wasn't dictated by the bench.

Beno: Thanks bud. I'll keep working at it; that's all you can do, right?

Just got back from Columbus; Line and I drove there to meet up with Tweak and Paulie at Arnold's fitness expo. It was an interesting experience; there should be more pictures of Line and I once he gets the film developed (he forgot his digital and I don't have one so we had to buy a disposable one :49:), but Tweak put up quite a few already so you can check those out.

Congrats on pulling (almost) 435!

Lockouts are a good thing, though another thing may be to do some singles or doubles at around 405 or 425. So do several sets at that top end, back off for a week pulling just one set, then see what you can do!

Had a bit of a break recently and Line and I have both been sick (not from each other to strike preemptively at the gay jokes :no:), but despite that we had a productive day. I'm happy about the military press. That exercise is so scatty for me; today the 155 was a joke, but on other days it's really heavy :e5dunno: I also got a bit of a workout in earlier because we played volleyball at our ROTC 'laboratory' today. Going to bed so I can study Modeling of Dynamic Systems tomorrow; should be hours of fun! :hsughr:
