Thanks guys. Probably won't be taking pictures at the TA tomorrow. Will take hundreds when I'm starting my training though.

Oh, you think the bootcamp dvd easy? :ugh: I got results from doing it and it helped my overall fitness.

Its basically kickboxing cardio with resistance bands. Your shoulders will burn to the point where you can't even lift your arms. It doesn't help that the bands were designed for short people. Throw this sort of workout into your routine, and you'll notice a huge difference.

Billy Blanks DVD's may seem cheesy but they are really good - Maria has got one and it kills her!

Just got back from my interview. Once I got to Gordon Barracks (15 minute drive), I was told I'd be going up to Peterhead for the interview(40 minute drive).There was supposed to be 4-6 of us going, but I was the only one that bothered to show up for it. My fitness test starts may 15, which is 2 days of nothing. I was told as long as I can run 1.5 miles in under 15 minutes and do 1 pull up, I'd pass. :uhoh2:

Pay is like £37/$80 a day once I become a TA soldier. :linedrunk:

WTF? 1 pull up? is this for real :D

He said as long as the form is perfect it doesn't matter how many you do. Got my bmi done last night at the interview, checked in at 23. So I was in the normal weight zone for a soldier.

BMI Less than 20 — Under Weight

BMI 20-25 — Normal Weight

BMI 25-30 — Over Weight

BMI 30-40 — Obese

BMI Over 40 — Severely Obese

haha dude for real..? 1 pull up? So the run and the pull-up are the only 2 things you have to do.?
