lol. The Iso High Row is the only lat exercise I still have plenty of room to gain strength. The low row can't fit enough plates, the standard row is the same thing, and the dbs only go up to 125. I still do the DB Rows, sets of 10-15 depending on the day (I'm sure I could do more than 20 reps though, sad reality). Iso High Row, Chins, and Db Rows are all I can really do effectively. But it's not all bad, I can still build nice lats with them, keeping it simple you know.

No, I can't BB Row, fucks my back every time so I never even chance it. So don't ask lol.

I'm still weak I know.

At least I can bench 3 plates a side, next goal, 4 plates a side. Might take a couple years. lol.

Not everybody can be like Blake.

Fuck, I didn't realise you were so strong on the DBs! I'm hitting up the high rows on Friday so I'll get back to you with the results.

I've been able to put up 315 for some time now actually. I'm not on anything and haven't been for a while. I planned on doing a cycle in the near future but with my current heart problem I really doubt that. I'm going to be completely clean for quite a while.

This one is for you Ben

Shoulders and Lats

Db Shoulder Press
Rotator Warmups
35x15
90x6
100x6 - this felt akward as I haven't done it in weeks, so I dropped the weight back down as I figured it would be more beneficial
90x6
90x6

Cable Side Laterals
20x12
20x12
20x12
20x12

Hammer Strength Iso High Row
2 Plates a Side x10 - Warmup
5 Plates a Side x5
5 Plates and a 25 a Side x5
5 Plates and a 35 a Side x5
6 Plates a Side x5 (270lbs per side for you mathematically challenged folk, 540lbs total (245kg) This also means from here on out I must add reps as that's the maximum amount of plates the machine can hold.

There you go Ben, I was feeling good. For your safety when you get up around 5 and a 35 put some weight on the front of the machine near your feet. My set with that weight the machine nearly tipped over from A.) the amount on it, and B.) the inertia created by motor pattern which you're performing. At the 3rd rep I actually completely stopped, and started again.

Overhand Chins
Me x10
Me x10
Me x10
Me x10

BB Shrugs
135x10
225x10
315x10
405x10
435x10
435x10
435x10

Forearm Work - 2 sets of 30 reps

On another note, I have found a gym that caters to the "strongmen"/powerlifting type. Due to my gains and not even being chemically enhanced at the moment I do think it would be wise to find a gym more beneficial for myself. IE, heavier dbs for flat and incline presses, db rows, db shrugs. My strenth with BBs is good and far from impressive, so it's not an absolute necessity, but I do enjoy changing from dbs to bbs week to week.

I did intend on doing more volume for shoulders but I didn't want to take any more time than I already had and make the misses angry for my being tardy. Next time.

60 reps on chins is damn good.

How much do you max out at? Oh and can you still do a 1-arm-chin?

100 dammit! lol.

1-arm-chin these days, absolutely not. I'm 50lbs heavier than I was at that point. I haven't done weighted chins in ages either, I need to invest in a belt, I assume I could only muster 6-8 with a 45 pound plate around me. Still not bad considering I'm around 215lbs these days.

thanks for stopping by Tim.
