As for my goals, I want to compete, I'm actually planning on doing a show in July. Do I want to go professional or do I have huge aspirations to be a full-time bodybuilder? No, but I love this sport and so I have quite a bit of dedication towards it.

So basically I just wanna compete for fun. Right now I'll just do this local show for a couple years, and in about 4-5 years maybe I'll look around to do some other more serious shows to see how well I'd do.

yep it was rather short, only an hour long. The last two sessions of mine I was due to work shortly and got to the gym late.

I have legs today, and then tomorrow and Thursday I can make up for my chest/arms and back/shoulders session from this previous week :no:

right now I'm kinda depressed I dunno why. Just with training, I currently feel like no matter who I look at they look better then me, or people are all progressing better and faster then me, I dont think they are but thats my mentality right now.

I need to watch some Bodybuilding Vids and I'll be back on track

Good session. You deffinately do dominate alot of people in strength.

I think one reason why my diet got kind of crappy is because I didnt have the same amount of motivation that I had when I was dieting. While I was dieting, I was watching Bodybuilding videos everyday, I would Jay Cutlers videos like once a week almost and I was motivated to the max. Now I dont have time to watch videos everyday and ive lost motivation. I need to fix that, and I will start dominating again.

Hey...snap out of it! Their will always be some one better in everything in life...that's what should make you strive onwards.

Just improve on yourself and don't worry about other guys in the gym...so many things come in to it!! -they have been training for years...-they have genetics...-their on the sauce....-diet.....or maybe you put yourself down too easy.

Don't worry about it.

From the weight your throwing about right here right now on your leg day you sound like a strong BIG guy to do that.

Keep hitting the iron.



Nice on the extensions and presses. Also the calve volume is impressive.


Compare my leg day (done today also) to yours - that should make yourself feel better man ;)

Can you post your split, you said you train everything twice a week and I was interested to see how you work it.

come on tweak, how could you be depressed?! look at your fuckin strength! 70lbs hanging off you on chin ups, 100 lbs dbs upright rows with ease, 700 LBS LEG PRESS! your doing excellent, and your like what, 20? you are stronger at 20 than a steroid using 29 year old who weighs 219 lbs and goes to my gym. you rocked that leg session hard- like you do all your sessions- and you leave no room for dissapointment. even if some people look better than you, you have to relise that you are bulking- your not looking 100% with a shirt off. it's a harsh reality. when you cut up again, you will look like a fuckin greek god. keep your head up!

last time I db rowed I got the 120s for 15..not bragging or anything :spy:

I have, but I wont. I dont really like that type of training, I'll have too much left after each movement. I have to destroy things with an abundance of reps and sets.

Scoular and CJU, thank you both for your posts. Both are very inspirational and they mean a lot to me.

watch vids and put on your favourite songs when your working out sometimes when I feel a bit unmotivated I stick on a banging track and it makes things easier

I just made it up in my head lol. I wanted to hit everything twice a week, and if you can find time to train any day of the week since this split alternates each week since its 3 on, 1 off, so the next week you'll actually be re-starting on the Tuesday, then its a good idea. Each bodypart twice in a 7 day span is good stuff.

And the alternating reps scheme, well thats my own little style of training. I dont like having a set number when I go in there, so it all depends on the day, I'll go 10 reps, 15 reps, 30 reps, then the next week go 5-6 reps. Its just my own little style.

I was feeling really good this entire session, very strong. I couldnt believe I managed the 95s after 10 sets of Bench, so that made my day. Plus, my dips continue getting better, I got 105 on dips, which was the last exercise for chest and I keep gaining weight :e5dunno: . So thats some plusses, overal this was a great workout, hell...if I get workouts like this everytime I slam my finger in my truck door I need to do that more often lol.
