not a bad session............but i gotta question why you do multiple sets of the same weight and reps........its unproductive, you wanna work to a peak and then progression of strength and then move onto the next exercise.......doing the same weight and rep scheme 4 times in a row seems unproductive to me....food for thought

^^ Actually it is similar in vein to the eternal 5x5 scheme. The idea is to use a weight repeatedly so that your total work sets are comprised of essentially a max. Weightlifters use this for gaining strength and hypertrophy in a 10 sets of 3 reps scheme. It allows a great volume at high % of max.

Working up to a peak is cummulative fatigue (unless done slightly differently from the norm, such that you warm-up and then hit a max before running down to a drop set), and I'm not a big fan.

doesn't necessarily have to be 10 sets of 3, 8x3, 8x4. I've just cut back my last couple sessions due to 1.) How strong I've felt 2.) how well my shoulder felt.

I'll crank it back up shortly :xyxthumbs:

always a pleasure Tim :tiphat:

Nice work my friend. Sessions seem to be working already. I expect you to notice a difference with the creatine.

Death by volume, yet again:ughnoes:

What do you consume pre-workout, Tweak? A gallon of gatorade? Small babies? Human misery? Whatever it is, your endurance is unreal.

BB curls and rows were excellent standouts. Let us know how the creatine load/use feels, as it's glaringly apparent that this new routine is paying off just on its own.

Excellent pics, by the way:xyxthumbs:

nice workout, Amazing job with the db rows. How's the shoulder feeling this session? Nice job on the bench, ur close grip isnt bad either, as the weeks go on, both will improve greatly, so dont feel down about the close grip, close grip is a tough exercise, im not great at close grip benching myself. Those seated side laterals will sure make ur shoulders grow, pics look good too, great peak on the bicep, chest is getting bigger, and big shoulders

Here it is, Lower Body Session

Calves
- Hammer Strength Standing Calve Raises
-- 90x25
-- 180x15
-- 180x15
-- 180x15 superset w/ Donkey Calve Raises 260x15

Giant Sets -
1. Hammer Strength Calve Raises
2. Donkey Calve Raises
3. Paramount Squat Thing Calve Raise
4. Toe Raises

Set 1:
180x15
260x15
45x15
20 Toe Raises

Set 2:
180x15
260x15
45x15
20 Toe Raises

Front Squats Olympic Style - Working on wrist flexibility, used light weight the entire time.
Bar x6
55x6
40kg x6
40kg x6
40kg x6
40kg x6 <--- good weight for my wrists, should easily go heavier next week.

Deadlifts - got a little more serious this week opposed to last week where I took it easy to see how my back could handle it. Went well.
60kg x3
90kg x3
110kg x3
120kg x3
140kg x1 <-- not bad I suppose

Deadlift Note: next week will be the true beginning of some deadlift work, I'll be doing heavier weight for singles, doubles, and triples, ranging from 8-10 sets :xyxthumbs:

Lying Leg Curl
130x10
130x10
130x10
130x10

Decline Abdominal Crunches
Me x15
Me+45 x15
Me+45 x15

Aftermath: I have two videos of myself, one doing the OL Front Squats to check my form, my heels were slightly coming up so I immediately fixed it. Camera does come in quite handy for that.
Also a video of me doing deadlifts, I think its the 120kg x3, I'll also post that later. Form was in check with that, but I think I may be using more lower back then drive from the hammies. I'll wait for your guys opinions.

A few goals I'm going to set for myself when it comes to Deadlifts.

Previous Personal Best = 355x3 @ 200lbs, I'm hoping to get 355x3 while staying under 175-185lbs. I weigh 159 right now.

I'm also hoping to join the 400lbs club while staying under the weight of 175-180, that would easily shatter my old PB with weight and pound for pound strength.

Honestly, I'd love to stay under 170 for each of those goals, but lets be a bit realistic shall we? :tiphat:

Fine work Clinton. 8-10 sets of deads. Rather you than me. And that was a very respectable start off this last session. Good luck with your goals.
