I'm gonna stop being a ***** bitch. Doing 5/3/1, but I'm doing magnusson/ortmayer deadlift cycle on deadlift day.

My problem with deadlifting is getting the bar moving, so for every rep of every set today (minus the last 120kg) bar stopped and reset myself. I didn't bother going over the 8 reps in the last set, I know I had a bunch more in me, I was more concerned about the other sets, I'll push the boundaries of that set in coming weeks.

That's great, i have that same goal atm, just trying to reach that doing 5-3-1 (tested 194Kg single) no specific deadlift routine yet although oatmayer's sounds tempting...in a painful way lol.

Ok so it looks like I'm back in here... had to give the gym a miss for a few weeks due to lack of funds, but I was trying to keep the bodyweight training going. Finally found a job, I'm gonna be a BP servo dude ahahahahaha lets hear it for graveyard shifts!!!

Experimented with a lower bar position and wider stance... felt really ****ing solid. Didn't want to go over the 3 reps the first week back, I'll wait for the 5-3-1 week to test myself. Still having major wrist issues, I've found I'm not having as much of an issue if I don't wrap my thumb around the bar and keep my hand a bit more open.... good or bad idea?

I did these last week also, but I wasn't able to get anything else done in the week so I thought I'd restart.
I did 2 sets of 4 pullups, I tried to do more but there were so many people using the bars I could only fit in 2 sets.
