Nice weight on the dumbell shrugs! must have quite a grip to hold on to those. I remember once I used just 90lb dumbells for shrugs and my calluses ripped off and started bleeding.
You should use straps if you can't hold the weight bro, I do when I go heavy on shrugs.

Looking after your hands is part of grip work. I still don't buy into straps, check out the articles section for some info on straps and belts. But you do have to manage your calluses to make sure you don't have big lumps of dead skin that can just pull away from lifting.

And yes Tweak, I have been checking out your progress.

your shoulders are god damn strong tweak. i wish i could do 45 lbs laterals with shitty form, much less good form. big military presses too. and your chins are crazed as always...six damn sets with 10. if you take about a 3rd of a rep per set away from that thats like 14 reps per set (or something...i'm too lazy to do the calculations). your damn strong tweak, but i look better :hay:

I'm suprised to see you benching again after doing three different chest exercises the other day so that'd be something I'd watch. Also, you know better than to use a Smith Machine

Great weight on those shrugs and side laterals...those babies will be higher than your presses soon :eek4:

Exactly what I was thinking! Inclines are very good after that heavy benching as well. Great choice with the close grips too :2:

Great work on the flat bench, Tweak! Let's see some 225 x 5 next time :ughnoes:

I'm not a huge fan of elliptical machines, but I know you can run so I'll let it slide  Good no-impact day for cardio.

MY BENCH IS BETTER THAN YOURS BITCH IN YOUR FACE!! what chu know about 225 for 8? was doin 225 for 10 at the end of my bulk. it must be your chest because your close grip benches are about the same as mine but my benching is better.

other than the pathetic bench /spingay , good workout. what happened on the standing db curls?

Ben - thanks for the comment man. I'm glad you still stop by my log to comment since you barely post anymore :tear:

Max-Ot - haha i know i know gotta get them inclines up, I'd like to hit inclines first again sometime just so I could throw up the 100s again :turborun:

Palmetto - it sure has, it still needs a lot of improvement though :tear:

Line - yes yes, excellent choice. gotta stick to them compunds and basics you know. Believe it or not you've taught me quite a bit about training :spy:

Glex - I cant wait for the day I can hit 225x5, that will be such a great day, thanks for your comment Emerson :spy:

CJU - Bench has always been a week point of mine, it has just recently started to shoot up a bit more. Dont worry, it's just going to get better and I will surpass you muahahah :spy: About the db curls, I dont train biceps heavy at all, my philosophy with biceps is you train back hard then your biceps will grow very nicely and whatever else you do for them is an added bonus.

I did legs tonight, nothing really impressive

my legs have been at a stand still for over a month now, I dont really know why. Some days I can rep out 275 much easier then others, others I find it very difficult. Who knows.

I also did some cardio at the very end along with some ab training. pretty good session even if my legs aren't progressing in strength too much :tear:

Thanks Banshee :hsughr: :hsughr: :hsughr:

my shoulders are my best body part, and 5 sets of 12 is cake lol...I'm used to weighted pullups but I haven't added weight for a couple weeks :tear: I've been focusing on really contracting my lats these last few sessions.

thanks for posting Banshee, means a lot :xyxthumbs:
