I think I am going to try to start this up again. It was a nice way to keep track of my sessions and also motivation to show up and "do work"

12/14/2009 - Leg Day
Wasn't feeling a heavy day, but I walked in on my friends squatting with bands and I got that itch to try it out.

Apparently at the top these bands added ~100lbs, this will not be included on the weights I post for squats.

Squats:
135 x 8 (warm up)
225 x 6 (warm up)
315 x 6 (warm up)
405 x 13
405 x 10

Nice and deep, towards the end the last 1/3 or concentric movement got very difficult. I liked how it pulled me below parallel. Felt great, have to get use to it springing me back when I unrack the bar with the heavy weight. I am thinking next time I will try 495 with the bands. :hyperguy:

Leg Press:
20 plates x 15
24 plates x 12

FST-7 with Leg Extensions with 200lbs. The burning!

Sitting Leg Curls:
3 sets of 150 x 12

One Leg Curls:
90 x 12
100 x 12
110 x 10

I squatted 500 for 10 just the other week, so I still got it!
But with my first attempt at squatting with bands I didn't want to go crazy and chance injuring myself :bitenails:

I've never tried band squats myself. I hope to have my own garage gym set-up in a few years though and bands and chains will definitely be a part of it.

I highly recommend it. I loved it and will be incorporating it into my routine more often. :borat:

He had a whole bag, these were purple and they were rather hard to put on and off the bar.

Not my best day by far. Only ate twice and was tired from going out the night before and working all day.

This workout sucked, I moved some descent weight but I didn't get a pump or feel like I did anything. I recently stopped drinking half an EndoRush prior to my workouts and the past two (chest and back) have been shitty. I am going to continue to waste my money on EndoRush to get back into my good sessions.
