Yeh I guess lol. The 130k felt light so thats why. Tomorrow i'll increase to 145k and see how that feels. My strength should come back quick, I can feel it already.

Freako: Yes, 5x5 is good mate I think it's a good thing to bring my strength levels back where they were roughly about a year ago. As soon as I get up to squatting 160k ish and deadlifting 180k im gna do a bill starr one (either his or madcows). Keep checking back freako. I wana be stronger than YOU!

great session! doing squats and deadlift in the same session it hard man. moving some good weight as well.

Rob: Thanks buddy :) I am very happy with my progress. Ive done these weights before but it's nice to be up there again. As soon as I get past 160k on squats for 5 reps. I will be very pleased.

Big J: Yes it is similar to your training. At the moment im training specifically for strength, so far so good. Thanks pal :)

My weight at the moment is around 100kg. Conditioning wise im prolly around 18%. I feel like dieting down to about 10% but then again i dont want to sacrifice my strength in the gym. So i am just eating clean and see if i can lose it that way ;)

I've done Madcow's advanced a few times and rate it highly. Great strength gains especially when rebuilding strength.

And you can dream that you're gonna beat me. :p Wait til I do Smolov again. :borat:

Hey man, I took yesterday off because i seriously had trouble sleeping sunday night and felt like total shit. Tomorrow ill be back with the 150k squat :spy:

Ok, not happy with todays workout. Couldn't finish the last 2 sets of 150 in squats because my lower back was hurting me in a bad way and when i was doing my last set of power shrugs, i pulled my neck on the first rep, tried to do few more but it got worse. I then manged to make a good effort on dips then got outta of there. I'm hoping it heals up soon.

Strong squats! 150kg for 5 is my PR, but only for 1 set.
Yeah, squatting often, adding deadlift, could be a problem for lower back recovery. Reduce the intensity for some workouts and problem solved:thumbsup2:
