Maybe I should get me a knee injury.
I kind of feel the same way about my back. I'm really conscious of keeping good form on squats and deadlifts, and it usually starts feeling worse if I stop training with those two exercises.
Although in my case it seems to be detrimental to my strength
Awesome Leg Day (For a bad knee):
Freeweight Squats:
135 x 10 (warmup)
225 x 8 (warmup)
315 x 8 (warmup)
405 x 15 (the last one was tough but my form for each was by the book = perfect )
455 x 8 (should have gone for ten but this was really easy)
Leg Press:
16 plates total x 20
20 plates total x 20
22 plates total x 20
(I guess I should have gone heavier. That is all I did for quads, low volume but everything else bothers my knee)
Stiff Leg Deadlifts:
135 x 10 (warmup)
225 x 10
315 x 10
Sitting Leg Curls:
100 x 15
125 x 15
150 x 12
My legs were fried I was done.
