First Chest Day back in three weeks since my right pec strain:

Incline BB Press:
135 x 8 (warm up)
225 x 8 (warm up)
275 x 5 (warm up)
315 x 7, rest 10 sec x 2, rest 10 sec x 2

Flat Hammer Strength Press:
3 plates/ side x 10 (last two had slow eccentric movement with explosive concentric phase. Failure on last rep)

Incline Hammer Press:
3 plates and a 25/side x 11 (first 8 where normal reps, last three were slow negatives and failed on last rep)

Biceps:

Single Arm Preacher Curl Machine:

80lbs x 12 (warm up)
110lbs x 11 (slow eccentric and concentric movements for each rep, meant to "pre-exhaust" )

Standing BB Curls:
115 x 10
125 x 10 (last two slow eccentric movement, swung up on concentric phase)

Standing DB Hammer Curls:

70s x 10

I definitely could tell my strength has gone down and my muscles cramped pretty fast but I pushed through it and felt great. My pec didn't hurt too much but that is why I did two Hammer Strength movements this session and focused more on Inline than anything. Overall I was happy considering the length of my time off and a previous injury. :xyxthumbs:

Legs:

Leg-Presses:
12 plates x 15 (warm up)
16 plates x 15 (warm up)
20 plates x 15
24 plates x 15 (1185lbs :linedrunk:, not a PB but still good)

Squats:
315 x 15 (warm up)
405 x 12 (my right upper quad popped, kinda hurt but kept going)
405 x 11 (went really slow and paused at bottom, pre-exhaustion from leg presses made this intense but I really liked it)

Leg Extensions:
250 x 18 (paused at the top, lowered really slowly on last 8)
280 x 16 (same as above for last 6)

Hammer Strength Sitting Leg Curl:
140 x 15 (warm up)
150 x 18
150 x 15

Lying Leg Curl:

185 x 15
205 x 12
205 x 11

Did some calves and abs, good workout. First time I tried pre-exhaustion in a long time. Made 405 feel much more like a working set, but the pop in my quad is really sore right now while sitting here... should be ok, motor function and movement is intact so should be good to go for deads and legs next week.

what size are your quads?

Good question, I will have to measure them soon. :xyxthumbs: I know around thirty at least. Three years ago they were around 29inches and that was way before I got my growth spurt from doing heavy squats consistently.

I did back today, nothing special. My biceps were still sore and since I did legs yesterday I didn't do deads. Nothing really worth posting, I focused on squeezing on each rep rather than hoisting up the weight and it felt great. If it is necessary that I post it I will, but not many are visiting the log anymore so I am too lazy to post it
