great session Braaq, always a great display of pure power!

i noticed you have limited your working sets considerably, how is it working for you, ive followed the rule of no more than 5-10 workings sets per session, i think its a good target!

Thanks bro, I was happy with that myself. Hate it when your strength decreses after a heavy lift, but the great thing about this lower volume and lower sets style of training is that I have the energy to do so.

Thanks, much appreciated. :tiphat:
Training is only fun to me if I can train heavy, lets hope I can keep it up.

So far so good, I have started to gain weight and thickness. I am still in the trial stages to see how it works but I love it so far and my strength is going back up so I will keep you posted. :2:

Excellent deads there, Braaq. I don't think I'd call 405 a warmup, but maybe that's just me:dunnodude:

Nice deads man, i havent done those in about 2 years though
sadly, my legs get big too easily, even without progressing with weight :(
bad thing though, jean/pant size shoots thru the roof, too many clothes lol
right now im wearing my old 38 size khakis, now i fit a 28, lost 50lbs
those heavy leg workouts make them legs tree trunks for sure!
i can see soon, you hitting 700lbs very soon buddy, keep it up!

Leg Day:

Squats:
135 x 10 (warmup)
225 x 10 (warmup)
315 x 8 (warmup)
405 x 8 (warmup)
500 x 8 (could have done two more... .. should have pushed it)

Smith Lunges:
315 x 8 per leg
275 x 8 (alternated each rep this time... little awkward for the first time so I lowered the weight)

Single-Leg Leg Press:
8 plates x 12
10 plates x 12 (great pump!)

Leg Extensions:
285 x 15
300 x 15 (fried em!)

Lying Leg Curls:
185 x 12
200 x 12
200 x 12

Hammer Strength Sitting Leg Curl:
150 x 12
175 x 12
200 x 10

I am feeling sluggish and worn out... so I am going to take the wise Tunen's advice and start deloading next week. Im excited to see how it works out, it sounds much better than just taking a whole week off to recover.

Wasn't going to post this workout cause it is very random and I tried new exercises... just a mess, but here goes.

Shoulders:

Standing DB Side-Laterals (pre-exhaust and warmup):
40s x 15
50s x 12
60s x 10

Behind the Neck-BB Press (free weight):
135 x 12 (warmup)
185 x 12 (warmup)
225 x 10 (warmup)
250 x 8
I wanted to go up to 275 but I never did this exercise before and didnt wanna push it my first time... after I felt how easy 250 was I wish I did. I like this exercise so expect to see it more often.. if I train shoulders more than once a month haha, I dont even remember my last shoulder workout

Standing DB Side Laterals:
50s x 12
60s x 12
70s x 10

DB Military Press:
120s x 6
 , I have an injury on my left elbow. I dont know what it is, it feels like I might have torn the ligaments connecting my radius to my humerus... this for some reason really flared it up.. which is why I only did 6.....:angrydude:

Shoulder Width Upright Rows:
135 x 10
185 x 8
Never did this exercise before either, dont like it.. hurts my collar bone up near my shoulder girdle. :e5dunno:

Rear-Delts on Pec-Deck:
235 x 15
250(stack) x 15

Triceps:

Sitting Overhead French Press:
75lbs x 20 (warmup)
135 x 15
135 x 15

Single Pulley Cambered Bar Pressdown:
120 x 12
140 x 10

Single Pulley Rope Pull Downs:
90 x 12
110 x 10

BB Shrugs:
315 x 15
405 x 12
495 x 12

Did some calves and got out.. I was in the gym forever.. talking and not really into training.. just screwin around.
