^ again, i didn't post for approval and "rainbows", i posted because i was receiving multiple requests to do so. you think i don't know what to expect from some on this forum? did you not see my squat thread?

i'm posting this to allow those who are interested, which there are some, to follow me on this journey. not to tell me how to navigate it.

Exactly, I'm really interested not only because I want you to do well and your my friend on here but as I am only a year or so younger than you it's a learning curve for me because I have aspirations of someday competing soon.

Anymore snap shots before you go onstage?

thanks dude you're one of the guys i'm referring to as to why this thread even exists. i'd definately recommend trying to get a show in while you're a teen. if you don't nail you're condition you could still do well and it will show you what to expect from the open divisions. i remember being backstage last year, and it really helps to see what the best guys look like in real life to get a mental image of what you need to look like. magazines do crazy conditioning levels no justice. i'd never seen guys like that up close and personal.

and i'm hoping for more photos, the photographer i'm working with wanted to do more tonight but i'm working, but we should definately have more before the show :thumbsup2:

I'm not hating on you at all. I'm just giving you my opinion of what I see. Judges will do the samething. So far, your physique is ok. I haven't seen any mandatories or quarter turns in this thread. So honestly I don't know what you look like under good light.....not gym lighting.

Freak:umwtf:

I think there are many misconceptions going on in this thread. We should all back up a little. From my point of view several things are going wrong.

Advice is being given with an aggressive connotation.
Responses are being given without enough thought.

This forum is extremely bad mannered. This goes for all of us, we should try to be more assertive.

Since praise, criticism, advice, and comments appear unwanted in this thread...

I'm posting to let you all know I looked at this thread.

Damn it amazes me how every thread in this place turns into some sort of debate. I am sure everyone in this thread, myself included, are very pleased that you let us into the last part of your journey. I love following the bodybuilders on this site and seeing the progress they make and always look forward to those shots from the show. Nail these last four days of your prep and I will be anxiously waiting results and stage shots. Best of luck brother!

I agree, there doesn't need to be debate, or bickering.

My post wasn't meant to insult or belittle Duality, I've actually grown fond of him and think he's a cool guy. Rather, I was trying to motivate him to be the best he can be, because he looks amazing for his age. His chest is just insane, waist is tiny, and if he can improve the rest, he can do damage at any amateur show there is. I just think that if he was a bit leaner, he'd look amazing for any age.

Anyway, best of luck these next few days, I assume you have your color, and your carb/water/sodium manipulations planned out?

1st thing I would like to do is thank you for posting ur pics and keeping every1 updated, it is awesome to see ppl on this site posting pics and keeping everyone updated on how their precontest is going!

2nd is that Ironslave as well as others (especially ironslave) were not criticizing you and just giving you negative comments...they were trying to not only motivate you and inspire you but also give you constructive criticism.

3rd I have a few comments i would like to make as well about everything:::::

where i will easily be the youngest entrant.
It seems to me that 2 many times you are entirely too focused on your age instead of focusing on being the best bodybuilder you can be.

i'm 20 fucking years old, ...... this is a marathon, not a sprint.

I would agree but I would not approach a show and diet/cardio/&train thinking well I'm still young and have plenty of time, it seems like an excuse to not diet as hard and prep as hard..... in my opinion champions, true champions want to come in their very best and go for the Overall in every single show they compete in rather than trying to place half decent in a known/expected weak class. True champions also talk about hoping their opponents come in their best so the win will actually be worth something.

coming in at 203lbs in much better condition that last year when i competed at 192 is a huge improvement in my eyes
I also think that you may be too focused on your what your weight is.......I may be wrong but it just seems like it, and IMO weight is something you should not focus on at all, u should just try to come in your very best condition rather than being happy with being heavier than a previous showing.

I, would rather place well, and build on that. a trophy lasts forever. you're feeling of self satisfaction doesn't.

I personally love winning/earning trophies but I believe that you perspective is not that of a true championship bodybuilder. You are more worried about coming home with a 3rd or hopefully 2nd place trophy rather than busting you tail and coming in your best and knowing at the end of the day that you did everything possible to come in your best......

i didn't put it up to have a bunch of e-experts, who quite honestly have accomplished nothing in the sport, to tell me how bad i look. i have real bodybuilders at my gym to give me advice when asked. if that comes off as arrogant, i'm sorry. but i don't go on the internet

As Joey (Flex) and I have found out....sometimes the problem with "real" bodybuilders is that a lot of them don't know wtf they are talking about and or doing. Joey is working with a guy who is competing in the Master's Nationals....an IFBB Pro qualifier... and he is one of the best if not the best bodybuilders in the entire area!.....and has been competing for around or over 20 years and still has never nailed his best showing because he does not know how to prep and last week. He also does not have any scientific reason for why he does his final week the way he does besides........"that's what he heard." this is one huge example of how much sum bodybuilders know.

Overall if would fully agree with Flex that you need to diet 6-8 more weeks and slow it down to ensure you come in your very best and I also agree with Ironslaves post 110%

Btw I almost forgot Duality best of luck with your show! And I hope everything goes well with your final prep. Once again thanks for posting pics and keeping everyone updated on your prep.

1 quick piece of advice I just thought of was to write down specifically how you do your final week prep so that you will know exactly what you did so that next time you do a contest you can refer back to it
